About
UpWest is a pre-seed & seed-stage Silicon Valley fund investing in Israeli entrepreneurs. It is focused on a hands-on approach to supercharge the growth of its start-ups, providing seed funding, proximity and access to markets and capital, and a supportive community of talented peers and mentors. It actively invests in companies with three main criteria: companies with founders that are looking to break into the US market or founders that have already established a US presence; companies at all stages of the product lifecycle, from a mere idea to a market-ready product; and start-ups with or without previous seed funding.
Beyond its investments, it also supplies its entrepreneurs with office space, access to the Silicon Valley ecosystem, and an opportunity to work with influential and experienced people in the technology world. It only invests in a handful of start-ups per year, ensuring it has the capacity to actively support these companies for many years. It also invests in the follow-on-funding round of its portfolio companies and scales its support to them. It invests in the following domains: Enterprise Software, Internet of Things, Infrastructure Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Consumer Applications, Drones, Cyber Security, AR/VR, Marketplaces & more.
