Slavik Markovich is a serial entrepreneur with a strong background in cybersecurity. He co-founded Sentrigo, a database security startup acquired by McAfee in 2011. He then co-founded Demisto, a SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) leader, which was acquired by Palo Alto Networks in 2019 for $560 million. Currently, he is the CEO and co-founder of Descope, an authentication platform that helps developers build secure, frictionless user authentication experiences. Markovich was born in Minsk, Belarus, and moved to Israel with his family in 1980. He graduated with a degree in computer science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He is also an investor and advisor to numerous security startups.
