Arik Czerniak was born in 1975 in Israel. He is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, investing in pre-seed deals with demonstrated product market fit and initial traction. He is currently a General Partner at Axon Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in Israel's elite founders. In addition to his role as a GP at Axon Ventures, Mr. Czerniak is a Chairman at Big-Tech R&D 50, a publicly traded partnership investing in an index of late stage Israeli startups. Prior to these roles, he co-founded Drove Networks, which developed simple & powerful digital marketing solutions. Prior to this position, Mr. Czerniak has founded two other companies: Supersonic, a mobile marketing and monetization platform powering the world's top publishers and advertisers. The company was acquired in 2015 by IronSource; and, Metacafe, a user-generated video platform, which had over 50 million monthly users and raised over 50 million in venture capital funding. In addition, during his career he served on the board of directors for Perion (formerly Incredimail), a publicly traded consumer web company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Czerniak served as an officer in the Israeli air force (for 7 years), and, has graduated from Talpiot, Israel's top R&D officer course.
