Lynx is an Israeli startup founded in January 2018 by Naum Berestetsky and Emil Shaked. The company develops a digital signature solution for physical documents. Its primary product is the Lynx stamp, a handheld biometric IoT signing device that conducts the entire cryptographic process on-device, generating a digital signature based on the encrypted document's content, the signer's ID, and the event date and location. This digital signature, along with a URL to cloud storage, is incorporated into a QR code printed on the physical document by the integrated printer in the Lynx stamp. Lynx aims to stop hardcopy document fraud with its hardware-enhanced security technologies using biometric authentication and a cloud backup system.
