Ziv Aviram is an Israeli businessman, investor, and manager of several global companies. In 1999, Aviram co-founded Mobileye and held the positions of President and CEO. Mobileye became the leading supplier of Advanced Driver Assist Systems and autonomous driving technology. In August 2014, Mobileye went public and claimed the title for largest Israeli IPO ever. In August 2017, Intel acquired Mobileye for $15.3B, which is the biggest ever acquisition of an Israeli company. In 2010, Aviram co-founded OrCam and held the positions of President & CEO for 11 years. Currently he serves as the companys Active Co-Chairman. OrCam harnesses artificial vision by incorporating pioneering technology into a wearable platform, which improves the lives of individuals who are partially sighted, blind, have reading difficulties including dyslexia, or suffer from hearing disability. In 2019, Aviram founded pharma company MediCane Health, which develops cannabis-based medicine. As part of his business agenda and activities, he sees the importance of the Israeli high-tech industry and advises, accompanies, and invests in tens of startups in the fields of Medicine, Automotive, Artificial Intelligence, and more.
