Yanki Margalit is a prominent Israeli entrepreneur, investor, and speaker. He is best known for founding Aladdin Knowledge Systems in 1985, a software security company that went public on NASDAQ in 1993 and was later sold in 2009 for approximately $160 million. Margalit has a long history in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, dating back to the 1980s. He is an executive partner at Innodo Ventures, a seed-stage fund supporting early technology startups, and a mentor to numerous Israeli ventures. He also served as chairman of SpaceIL, the non-profit organization behind Israel's first private lunar mission, from 2011 to 2014, and is involved in social entrepreneurship initiatives. As of 2024, he is the founder and CEO of Caura.ai, a company developing AI systems.
