About

Yakir Gabay is a Cypriot-Israeli billionaire real estate investor. Born in Jerusalem in 1966, he holds a BA in economics and accounting and an MBA in finance and business from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Gabay began his career in the Prospectus Department of the Israeli Securities Authority, then served as CEO of the underwriting division at Bank Leumi, and later as chairman and managing partner of Gmul Investments, an Israeli firm managing over $30 billion in assets. In 2004, he established real estate investment activities in Berlin and Amsterdam, expanding across Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands. He is a major shareholder (15%) and Deputy Chairman of the advisory board of Aroundtown SA, a Frankfurt-listed commercial real estate company, and chairs the advisory board of Grand City Properties. Gabay is also involved in significant real estate developments in Cyprus and invests in venture capital funds and technology companies through his family office.
