Unterberg Tobin

C.E. Unterberg, Towbin was a United States investment bank founded in 1932. It was known for its merchant banking investments, particularly in high-technology companies, and emerged as a leading underwriter of initial public offerings in the early 1980s, taking companies like Intel and Cray Research public. The firm had a long-established presence in Israel, opening an office in Herzliya in 2004 to focus on Israeli technology, healthcare, and security companies. The firm was acquired by Collins Stewart in 2007.
