TheHive Ashdod Accelerator is an initiative of the Small and Medium Business Agency at the Ministry of Economy and Industry, in collaboration with the Ashdod Municipality. The accelerator serves early-stage start-ups and is operated by Gvahim, an Israeli non-profit organization that is committed to enabling business and career success for new immigrants. The accelerator takes place in Ashdods Kivunim entrepreneurship complex, that serves as a hub for entrepreneurs that seek to be part of a vibrant and active entrepreneurship community. The six-month accelerator program provides participating entrepreneurs with tools for developing their project, co-working space, mentorship by executives from the Israeli startup industry and Maof representatives, meetings with potential investors, and tailor-made workshops. Participants also enjoy networking with alumni entrepreneurs and graduates of other Gvahim programs. Ashdod Municipalitys Industrial Development Division continues to guide the alumni entrepreneurs, and to encourage their integration within the local industry.
