The LIFT is an accelerator program for startups and technological ventures intended for entrepreneurs in active reserve duty. the accelerator is an initiative of the Small and Medium Business Agency (SMBA), in the Ministry of Economy and Industry, via its executive arm Maof and in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense. The accelerate program is run across the country, under the professional management of the 8200-unit alumni association and allows entrepreneurs in various stages of the technological initiative to launch their ventures and take them forward.
The LIFT accelerator was founded in order to expand the knowledge and connections required for technological ventures, from a well-formed idea and up to founding a company, and raising the initial capital, for entrepreneurs in active reserve duty. The program is a six-month program, and is guided by professional and experienced mentors in the Israeli hi-tech industry, and provides a supportive professional envelope, guidance and mentoring in starting the ventures and advancing them to the target market while assisting in finding customers, collaborations, and raising the initial capital.
