About

Startup Negev is a tech accelerator program designed to guide and provide tools for the development and promotion of technological startups and ideas among entrepreneurs from the Bedouin communities in Israel. The program aims to expose young people to the technological-entrepreneurial world and encourage deeper engagement in this field. It works to integrate Bedouin society into Israel's hi-tech sector and promote economic prosperity. Startup Negev was established by the non-profit Mata Advanced Technology Center in the Negev and other partners, including Israel's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sapir Academic College, and Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL). The program is operated by Moona - a Space for Change and takes place at Switch, the Triguboff Center for Training and Advancement of Employment in the Idan haNegev Industrial Park, near Rahat.
