Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) established an Israeli office in 2008, extending its specialized banking and financial services to high-growth technology companies and private equity firms in Israel. It became a significant financial partner for numerous Israeli startups, offering debt financing, deposits, treasury management, and strategic guidance. While the parent company was based in the US, the Israeli operation played a crucial role in connecting local tech firms with global financial networks. The Israeli branch ceased operations following the collapse of its parent company in March 2023.
