Shmuel Harlap

Shmuel Harlap is an Israeli billionaire businessman, the chairman and controlling shareholder of the Colmobil Group, Israel's largest importer and distributor of passenger vehicles. He is also an active high-tech venture capital investor, operating through Colmobil, and has a doctorate in political philosophy from Harvard University. Harlap is known for his early investment in Mobileye, which generated over $1 billion for him and Colmobil after its acquisition by Intel in 2017. He continues to invest in transformative Israeli technology startups, particularly in the autonomous driving, enterprise networking, medical device, cybersecurity, nanotechnology, and life sciences sectors.
