Rob Phillpot is an Australian entrepreneur and angel investor. He co-founded Aconex, a Melbourne-based construction technology company that was acquired by Oracle for $1.6 billion in 2018. He is currently the CEO of Gravel Road Ventures, an investment firm that supports technology startups, and also runs the Gravel Road Foundation, a philanthropic organization. He also serves as a Partner at Glitch Capital, a $50 million founders fund. Phillpot has a background in both finance and construction, having worked on high-rise projects for Multiplex and as an auditor at Deloitte. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Planning and Design degree with honors from the University of Melbourne.
