Rimonim Venture Capital invests in Israels Agro-tech companies today, to prevent a global food shortage tomorrow. The firms team combines its deep expertise and resources to address the serious global issue of impending food shortages. Rimonim Venture Capital focuses its investment on a few verticals: Ag Biotechnology (On-farm inputs for crop and animal agriculture, including genetics, microbiome, breeding and animal health); Farm Robotics, Mechanization and Equipment (On-farm machinery, automation, drone manufacturers and grow equipment); Supply Chain Technologies (Food safety & traceability tech, logistics & transport and processing tech); Novel Farming Systems (Indoor farms, aquaculture, insect and algae production); Farm Management Software, Sensing & IoT (Ag data capturing devices, decision support software, and big data analytics); and Innovative Food (Cultured meat, novel ingredients, and plant-based proteins). Rimonims Fund II, building on the success of Fund I, will invest up to $100M in internationally scalable Israeli Agricultural Technology companies that address the unmet need of global food shortages. Rimonim Fund I has made four investments to date and serves as lead investor in three of them.
