Noam Rathaus is a serial business entrepreneur and angel investor, investing in early-stage deals. He is currently acting as the CTO of Beyond Security, Managing the SSD Secure Disclosure Program. The company offers automated vulnerability assessment and compliance solutions which enable businesses and governments to accurately assess and manage security weaknesses in their networks, applications, industrial systems and networked software at a fraction of the cost of human-based penetration testing. He has co-founded the company with no external funding and built its technical capabilities to a position where it is one of the leading vendors in the Vulnerability Assessment and Management space. The company was acquired by HelpSystems on May 2021. Noam has a great passion for startups and especially for cyber security startups. He has written a few books - about Nessus (vulnerability scanner) in the Enterprise environment, about Open Source Penetration Testing and Using Open Source Products to Protect the Network Environment and about Open Source Fuzzing Tools.
