MUFG Bank

MUFG Bank, Ltd. is a Japanese bank and the core banking subsidiary of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). It was established on January 1, 2006, through the merger of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and UFJ Bank. The bank was first named Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) before rebranding as MUFG Bank in July 2018. It is recognized as one of the three so-called megabanks in Japan and is one of the largest banks in the world. MUFG Bank has a global network with over 2,700 locations in more than 50 countries.
