Mitchell Kapor is an American entrepreneur, software designer, and investor. He is best known as the founder of Lotus Development Corporation and the designer of Lotus 1-2-3. He also co-founded the Electronic Frontier Foundation and was the founding chair of the Mozilla Foundation. Through Kapor Capital and the Kapor Center, he and his wife, Freada Kapor Klein, invest in tech startups that aim to close gaps of access, opportunity, and outcomes for low-income communities and communities of color in the US.
