Matthew Lloyd Thomas

Matthew Lloyd Thomas is a Vice President at TCG (The Chernin Group). Previously, he was the Executive Director of Corporate Development at The New York Times, where he led acquisitions such as The Athletic, Wordle, and Serial Productions. He also managed The Times's venture portfolio, including investments in OpenWeb and Trint, and oversaw operations for The Times's audio business. Prior to The New York Times, Matthew worked at TA Associates and Bain & Company. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Yale Daily News Foundation.
