Marques Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, is an American technology reviewer, podcaster, and influencer. He is best known for his YouTube channel, MKBHD, where he reviews technology devices. Brownlee started his YouTube channel in 2008 and began uploading videos in 2009, while still in high school. His content has grown from lo-fi gadget reviews to a network of channels supported by a studio with 17 employees. Brownlee has over 20 million subscribers across all his channels and billions of total video views. He has been recognized by Google's former Senior Vice President, Vic Gundotra, as "the best technology reviewer on the planet" and was named "Creator of the Decade" at the 10th Shorty Awards in 2018.
