About

Maccabi Haifa Accelerator is an intensive program for start-ups focused on soccer-related technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, smart stadiums, performance and coaching, eCommerce, wearable devices, betting technologies, athlete health, and eSports. Up to 25 start-ups will be selected to take part in a two-day intensive program after which 12 companies will be selected to participate in the program. The accelerator is operated by HYPE Sports Innovation, which has built a global sports-innovation start-up accelerator network hosted by academic institutions and sports clubs. The professional staff and wide network of advisers of HYPE will help the start-ups leverage the clubs various assets to accelerate the development of their companies in the course of the program period. The program will also enable participating start-ups to enjoy a variety of opportunities, including introduction to global sports brands, participation in global sports innovation competitions, entrance into the SPIN Accelerator alumni program, and more. The program ends up with a demo day in which the start-ups will have the chance to pitch their ideas before a crowd of global sports brands, clubs, and investors.
