About

Horizon 2020 was the European Union's largest research and innovation program, running from 2014 to 2020 with a budget of nearly €80 billion. It aimed to foster discoveries and innovation by supporting research and innovation activities through grants and procurements. The program was built on three pillars: Excellent Science, Industrial Leadership, and Societal Challenges.
