Eoghan McCabe is the co-founder and CEO of Fin, an AI customer service platform that was formerly known as Intercom. He co-founded Intercom in 2011 with Des Traynor, Ciaran Lee, and David Barrett in Dublin, Ireland. The company later moved its headquarters to San Francisco, California. Under McCabe's leadership, Intercom achieved unicorn status with a valuation exceeding $1 billion and raised substantial funding. After stepping down as CEO in 2020 due to health reasons, he returned in 2022 and led the company's pivot to an AI-first platform, rebranding it to Fin. In June 2026, Fin was acquired by Salesforce for $3.6 billion. McCabe is also an angel investor and mentor to young founders.
