About

The National Institute for Energy Storage is an initiative of the Israeli Ministry of Energy, established under the leadership of Bar-Ilan University and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Its mission is to strengthen Israel's leadership in energy storage by conducting advanced research, providing professional training in electrochemical storage, and promoting the transfer of innovative technologies from academia to industry. The institute also aims to encourage the establishment of Israeli knowledge-based startups in the green energy sector.
