About

The EIT Food Accelerator Network is a multi-location accelerator program delivered across Europe, to support high impact agrifood startups to maximize their success. Over the acceleration period, startups will have access to a buffet of tools, connections, mentors and expertise to help them succeed. At the end of the accelerator, there will be a final round of judging and the 3 best startups from all locations will be awarded financial prizes. The EIT program at the Technion is a fruitful collaboration between the Faculty of Biotechnology & Food Engineering and the Strauss Group. Startups participating in the program will benefit from an academic and business curriculum tailored to the needs of the participating entrepreneurs: lectures, practicum workshops, success stories, round table and one-on-one mentoring; access to the Technions faculty experts, its vast research infrastructure, labs and network of professional contacts; and industry tours in leading food factories and companies.
