Dr. Avraham Kadar is a physician-scientist, entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. He is the founder of BrainPOP, an animation-based digital learning platform that was acquired by KIRKBI (the LEGO brand's holding company) in 2022 for $875 million. Born in Rishon LeZion, Israel, Dr. Kadar studied physics at the Hebrew University and medicine at Tel Aviv University. He has also served as a fellow at the American National Institutes of Health (NIH). Through his philanthropic activities, Dr. Kadar supports Israeli creativity and educational programs, including being a founder of Teach First Israel and supporting SpaceIL and various academic institutions. He is also the president of the Naomi Foundation and serves as chairman of the board of ImmunoBrain and co-founder and chairman of the board of Ignis AI.
