Dean Sysman is a world-renowned Israeli entrepreneur and cybersecurity expert. He is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Axonius, a cybersecurity asset management company. He previously served as the CEO of Axonius, leading it to a $2.6 billion valuation in less than five years. Sysman was also honored with a place on the Forbes Under 30 Israel list and was a winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in New York. His background includes serving as a Captain in the elite Unit 8200 of the Israeli Intelligence Corps. He earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science at the age of 19 through Israel's "Etgar" accelerated program at the University of Haifa. Before Axonius, Sysman co-founded Cymmetria, a YC-backed cyber deception company that was later acquired by private equity. He also serves as a Board Member at Olakai, an enterprise AI analytics and governance platform, and as a Venture Advisor at AI Fund and Bessemer Venture Partners, where he advises portfolio companies on cybersecurity strategy. In February 2026, he joined the Board of Directors of Lasso Security, an AI security platform, and SecurityScorecard.
