CannaVC

CannaVC is a cannabis-focused venture capital fund for the Israeli market, managed by the Everest Group, in cooperation with crowdfunding platform, Pipelbiz. The fund, which aims to raise commitments of an NIS 30 million ($8.5 million) initially with a final target of NIS 100 million ($28 million), will invest in pre-seed, seed, and series A stage companies in return for a 20%-30% stake. The fund will invest in companies that have developed an innovative solution/service/product for the cannabis sector or supporting it, that is poised to disrupt existing markets, tap into new large markets or consolidate within strategic, global companies. CannaVC will also invest in companies fit for IPO or reverse merger into existing public shells. The fund enjoys the management of an experienced funds management team- Maoz Everest Funds, the support of a full-service investment bank and advisory firm- Everest Investment Banking and an advisory board comprised of Tier-1 experts and academics from the pharmaceutical and cannabis sectors, legal and public litigation and investment banking.
