BNP Paribas has been operating in Israel since October 1996, initially through a representative office and later opening a branch in 2006. While the branch was downgraded back to a representative office in 2011, the group continues to offer a range of products and services, leveraging its global network to support Israeli corporations and financial institutions in their international business activities and to facilitate access to the local market for large international clients. BNP Paribas organizes its businesses into three main operating divisions: Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), Commercial, Personal Banking & Services (CPBS), and Investment & Protection Services (IPS).
