About

Benny Landa is an Israeli entrepreneur and inventor who founded Indigo Digital Press in 1977 and The Landa Group in 2003. He is widely recognized as the 'father of commercial digital printing.' After selling Indigo to Hewlett-Packard in 2002 for $830 million, Landa established Landa Digital Printing, focusing on nanotechnology for digital printing with his Nanography technology. The company developed Nanographic printing presses that use water-based nano-pigment inks for high-speed, high-quality printing on various substrates. Landa Digital Printing faced financial challenges and was acquired by FIMI Opportunity Funds in September 2025.
