Axel Springer Plug and Play Accelerator

Axel Springer Plug and Play Accelerator was a Berlin-based early-stage startup accelerator and venture capital firm, a joint venture between Axel Springer SE and Plug and Play Tech Center. It offered seed funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities to digital entrepreneurs through a 100-day program. The accelerator actively sought out and invested in Israeli startups, holding events in Tel Aviv to recruit companies for its program. Its investment activities were succeeded by APX in 2018, and Axel Springer divested its stake in the accelerator in Q3 2025.
