FoodLabs, formerly Atlantic Food Labs, is a Berlin-based venture capital firm and venture studio that invests in and builds early-stage startups across the food technology, agriculture, and climate sectors. The firm focuses on innovative solutions for sustainable food production, alternative proteins, precision fermentation, biotechnology, and supply chain logistics, primarily within the European market. Founded in 2016 by Christophe F. Maire, FoodLabs combines venture capital with a venture studio model, providing both funding and hands-on strategic support to its portfolio companies. They have supported over 20 mission-driven teams and made over 74 investments in more than 50 portfolio companies.
