ZoomInfo is a leading provider of business data and intelligence for sales, marketing, and recruiting teams. It was originally founded in Israel in 2000 as Eliyon Technologies by Yonatan Stern, later rebranding as Zoom in 2005. After being acquired by DiscoverOrg in 2019, the merged entity was renamed ZoomInfo Technologies Inc.. The company maintained a significant R&D presence in Israel for many years, with its CTO and hundreds of employees based there. However, in May 2026, ZoomInfo announced the closure of its Israel R&D center, leading to layoffs. The well-known video conferencing company, Zoom Video Communications Inc. (a separate, US-based entity), invested in monday.com's IPO.
