VisageX is creating a new category in medical implants – Adjustable Permanent Implants (API) – smart, programmable implants that can be reshaped after implantation using safe, non-invasive induction heating of shape memory materials.
Our vision is to build a platform of adjustable implants that can be tailored to a variety of clinical applications, including reconstructive, aesthetic, cranial, orthopedic, urological, and ENT indications. This vision begins with our first generation of facial reconstructive implants, addressing clear unmet needs in craniomaxillofacial (CMF) surgery, where current implants are static and revisions are common.
We have started our First-in-Human (FIH) study with early promising results.
