About

Tyrec Ltd. is the leading tire recycling company in Israel, established in 2007 following Israeli government legislation regarding tire recycling. The company operates the biggest facility in Israel for the recycling of tires, located in the Shahak (Shaked) Industrial Zone. Tyrec collects used tires from over 600 garages and tire shops across the country and processes them to produce rubber flakes, granules, and powder. These materials are then used to manufacture a range of eco-friendly rubber products, including safety tiles for playgrounds, road maintenance and traffic safety equipment, and outdoor furniture. Tyrec is committed to quality, reliability, and innovation, with manufacturing processes certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Tyrec's R&D department is actively developing new products and markets for recycled tire materials. Since its founding, Tyrec has processed over 100,000 tons of waste tires, which represents some 50% of the total amount of waste tires in Israel.
