Mopair Technologies is the developer of the Balanseat, a walking rehabilitation and fall prevention device for elderly and neurologically impaired people who are at high risk of falling. The device is designed to increase walking ability and balance, reduce risk of falls, and improve ambulation. Utilizing active-sitting technology, the Balanseat applies gentle movements to the torso, pelvis, and thighs while the patient is seated in order to restore the torsos rotational flexibility, which may have diminished due to age or neurologic disease.
