Syngenta is a global Swiss agribusiness that produces agrochemicals and seeds. It was formed in 2000 by the merger of Novartis Agribusiness and Zeneca Agrochemicals. In June 2020, ChemChina transferred its entire agricultural business to the Syngenta Group, which now also includes Adama and the agricultural activities of Sinochem in addition to Syngenta.
