Smart Door Systems (SDS) is the developer of ADIOS, a cloud-based platform designed to manage domestic and high-security connected locks in smart homes and smart businesses. The ADIOS platform uses SDS's proprietary, IoT-connective iLock technology to enable operators to manage a large number of locking devices, even when geographically separated. The company's vision is to become the standard operating system for doors by developing and manufacturing smart locking systems supported by a cloud-based access control system. Their products are designed for all types of doors and are sold in the hospitality sector, institutions, banks, retail and storage facilities, shared spaces, offices, and homes. The idea behind SDS began when co-founder and VP Engineering, Zeev Fonea, sought to develop a solution for his father, who had difficulty opening his door with a key. SDS is a pioneer in Israel and worldwide in developing a locking device integrated with access control that transforms any regular door, regardless of its lock and manufacturer, into an advanced smart door with sophisticated control and monitoring capabilities.
