About
Rescue Heat is an Israeli startup developing an innovative thermal patch designed to rapidly and safely rewarm and maintain the body temperature of wounded individuals, particularly in battlefield scenarios, to combat hypothermia. The patent-pending patch can keep a wounded person warm for four hours at a steady 42 degrees Celsius. The heating material, a unique patented development, springs into action when shaken and exposed to air. The patch consists of a “smart” material attached to the body and designed so that it heats the cold skin up to a temperature of 42 degrees Celsius and not warmer than that, ensuring safety and preventing burns.
