We aim to make a breakthrough in the field of medical imaging by providing the first commercial Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) device that deliver Full-Volume 3D mapping along with other imaging modalities.
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is interferometric method that is able to provide 3D information of surface structure and internal depth information of transparent materials and tissues. Most OCT use is for medical purposes however it's being used in other fields for 3D characterization. The global market of OCT tools is 1.6B$ yearly where the largest segment is Ophthalmology (680M$) where the OCT or the eye retina test have become mandatory for diagnosis, therapy and disease progress tracking in this field. Such as Glaucoma, Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy and more. We established new unique IP for full volume OCT measurements. Current OCT tools are large and expensive devices with various offering modalities and set of features. However, all are scanning the tissue with sparse line-based scans. So, their mapping provided with low spatial resolution. Our method uses full-field imaging technique to do the OCT analysis. As such the resolution is high and the implementation is simplified. Moreover, multi-modality of data capture is enabled using the same receive optics. Our Full Volume OCT combined with regular imaging modalities such as RGB imaging and fluorescence combined results small and cost-effective device that outperforms current tooling. This approach magnifies diagnostics quality by improve abnormalities measurements estimation and detection accuracy therefore results better diagnosis accuracy and helping further IA based diagnostics development.
