About

ProArc Medical is a medical device company established to develop and commercialize noninvasive solutions for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or enlarged prostate. ProArc Medical's ClearRing is a prostatic reshaping device designed to treat lower urinary tract symptoms resulting from BPH. The ClearRing device is based on implants and a dedicated delivery system. The device, which consists of a nitinol implant in the shape of an open ring, is placed in the enlarged prostate tissue to expand the obstructed area while avoiding long-term contact with urine. The single-operator device is compatible with standard cystoscopes for convenient use by physicians. ProArc Medical is part of the Trendlines Medical incubator portfolio.
