Plastic2Nrg seeks to transform plastic waste into a profitable asset with its plastic-to-energy units for waste management plants. The units receive plastic waste as input and generate electricity as output. The company's process is based on fuel cells and a unique chemical oxidation methodology developed at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, designed to generate clean energy with high efficiency and no pollution. Waste management plants can save on transportation and landfill costs, receive fees for accepting plastic waste, and sell electricity generated by the Plastic2Nrg units, thus adding new revenue streams to their current waste-removal agreements with municipalities.
