PhotoPill's IBD-Cap is the first product and is a disposable, ingestible electronic capsule designed to deliver PBM therapy for reduction of flare-ups by treating ulcerations and inflammation caused by inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. The PhotoPill capsule is fully autonomous and does not require a preparation procedure, external guidance, or imaging of the treated area.
