The company’s technology accomplishes this by looking at what people online care about and then generating personalized adaptations for each user in a way that users can control.
By combining different modes of algorithmic analysis with social signals of how people are interacting and responding to news content, the system produces curated news feeds on any imaginable topic, representing an optimized combination of human- and computer-powered curation. The engine avoids clickbait, fake news, and endless feeds of mediocre headlines.
The company has also developed Sportfusion, a dedicated brand for its sports offerings.
In May 2021, Newsfusion was acquired by California-based company LOYAL.
