About
MicroSpark has developed an acoustic detector for explosives. The MicroSpark explosive trace detector does not rely on a database of known explosive substances, but instead uses acoustic technology capable of detecting any explosive material, regardless of its chemical makeup. MicroSpark conducts R&D according to the requirements and guidance of the homeland security sector of the Israeli government. MicroSpark received a grant from the Israel Innovation Authority in the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Labor and operates in one of the Ministry's technology incubators.
