Mellitor is developing an implantable glucose sensor for the continuous monitoring of glucose in patients with diabetes. The companys sensor is designed to be implanted for an extended period, much like a pacemaker, and gives a real-time, highly accurate measurement of the glucose level in interstitial fluid. Mellitor is also utilizing its existing core technology for the development of an HPLC polarimeter.
