Kibbutz Magal

Kibbutz Magal is a kibbutz in Israel, founded in 1953. It is located in the Wadi Ara region of the northern Sharon plain. Historically, its economy was based on citrus, avocado, and cotton. Today, it cultivates olives, almonds, and pomegranates, and produces olive oil. Since the 1970s, Kibbutz Magal has been a co-owner of Netafim, a leading international corporation for irrigation and dripping products. The kibbutz has undergone privatization since the late 1990s and is considered economically viable.
