Storyball is an interactive, motion-sensing smart ball created for children. A speaker embedded in the ball guides the holder through active, quest-based games that prompt players to perform physical actions such as swimming, sneaking, jumping, punching, and more than a hundred other different gestures. The Storyballs base unit contains multiple sensors and a high-fidelity speaker, microphone, battery, and additional output sources such as lights and haptics. The device is equipped with Bluetooth and is designed to light up responsively. In addition, swappable character skins programmed with specific stories and missions are wrapped around the base unit. Storyball is the 2017 Global EdTech Startup Awards winner for excellence in EdTech innovation and the 2019 winner of the Pioneers Challenge Award. Storyball is a product of Jug Technologies Ltd.
