Group interaction on mobile will lead the next generation of social networks and multiplayer gaming. Group functionality across different mobile applications is fast evolving, however, it still accounts for relatively low potion of daily smartphone usage. Managing our groups of friends in each app separately via small mobile screen is extremely difficult. Therefore, we end up interacting (and especially playing) more with strangers rather than our actual groups of friends. This challenge cannot be solved by improving the group process of each application separately. Rather, this requires a paradigm shift where groups are at the core of mobile interaction - enabling launch and operation of group applications from within an interactive group space. Hoozin does just this.
