Guide In Medical is a medical-device company developing a guided intubation system. Its system enables clear identification of the trachea during intubation procedures, even in difficult situations in which visualization of the trachea is limited. The Guide In Medical intubation system consists of an external disposable signal source and tracking software. The signal source is placed on the patient's neck with its transmitters directed toward the trachea. The tracking software is capable of detecting, analyzing, and magnifying the signal. In this way, the system distinguishes the trachea from the esophagus and canindicate the correct position of the trachea for intubation.
